# Compute Copilot

Learn the compute copilot workflow, fields, resource states, permissions, and troubleshooting in Cypacky Compute.

## What Copilot does

Compute Copilot brings instance lists, configuration, metrics, and work requests into a traceable conversation. Use it to explain states, investigate anomalies, compare configurations, and run guarded actions after confirmation.

## Operating boundary

Copilot reads the active space and selected instance before producing an explanation or action plan. State-changing actions require explicit confirmation, and results remain in the session timeline.

## Recommended workflow

1. Select an instance and state a goal, such as “find the cause of the latest restart.”
2. Review the configuration, metrics, and events cited by Copilot.
3. Inspect the plan, target, impact, and expected result.
4. Confirm the action and wait for the work request.
5. Record conclusions and follow-up actions in the timeline.
