# Storage overview

The storage module centralizes capacity, object storage, and image data associated with a space.

## Usage principles

Storage resources belong to the current space. Before creating or using one, confirm the current space permissions, available quota, and region conditions. Custom images appear as an image source during instance creation, and their availability also depends on the target region and instance size.
