A VPC is a network boundary for organizing private network resources in a space. When creating an instance, select a compatible network configuration so the instance can communicate over private addresses when needed.
Confirm the target region and space. A VPC and its related resources must be in compatible locations, and your current space role determines whether you can create one.
Use the VPC list to view existing networks and the details page to view network status and related work requests. Wait for an asynchronous change to finish before performing dependent actions.
The instance creation page shows only network options compatible with the selected region and space. After changing an instance region or availability zone, confirm that the VPC selection is still valid.
